About our village

Our Village, Quinhagak, is located 400  miles west of Anchorage. it is on the coast of kuskokwim bay, which is part of the bering se. quinhagak is 70 miles south of bethel, which is the hub of the kuskokwim delta. our village is comprised mainly of yup’ik eskimos, who still are involved with subsistence activities, and who still speak the yup’ik language.
